march thru the city of Roseau
Related to country: Dominica

The Environmental Coordinating Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture organized a march in recognition of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.

The March brought together government officials, school students and other young persons and activists to showcase the need for environmental protection. The participants marched to the drums and chants in an hour-long parade. This culminated with addresses from Government Officials at the Roseau Bayfront Terminal. The march caught the attention of many onlookers, some who even joined in to celebrate the need for the protection of the ozone layer.

All in all i enjoyed the walk, the chant and sounds of the drums, and off course the tshirt and hat was cool too.
